The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Jacobs School of Engineering, UC San Diego, provides a rigorous foundation in the principles and applications of electrical engineering. Students complete core courses in mathematics, physics, and programming, as well as specialized courses across multiple electrical engineering disciplines. The program allows students to pursue depth in areas such as communication systems, electronics, photonics, power engineering, and more. Hands-on design and laboratory experiences are emphasized. The curriculum includes technical and professional electives and a senior design course, preparing graduates for both industry and graduate study.
