Michigan State University offers a joint JD/MBA program between the College of Law and the Eli Broad College of Business. The curriculum integrates legal training and business management, preparing graduates for high-level roles in both fields. Graduates hold expertise valued in a broad range of careers—corporate counsel, financial advisor, law associate, consultants, managers, etc. The Broad MBA is ranked among the top 15 U.S. public business programs. The dual degree allows cross-crediting of 12 credits in each program, shortening typical completion time. Admission to both the JD and MBA programs is required separately, and tuition is paid separately for both. The JD/MBA is not eligible for the STEM MBA curriculum track. The structure generally involves one year primarily of law coursework, one year of business coursework, and two years of mixed coursework.
