The Master of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders at Michigan State University prepares students for professional careers as speech-language pathologists through a combination of rigorous academic coursework and extensive practicum experiences in clinical and community-based environments. Students can choose between a thesis (Plan A) and a non-thesis (Plan B) track. The program is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Training is offered in partnership with more than 100 off-campus facilities, providing diverse clinical practicum opportunities in schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and private clinics. Graduates are prepared for credentialing, workforce entry, or further doctoral study.
