The Master of Arts in K-12 Educational Administration at Michigan State University prepares aspiring and current educators for leadership positions in K-12 public, charter, and private schools. The program is designed for school-level and teacher leaders interested in administrative practice, and is approved by the Michigan State Board of Education for the School Administrator Certificate with elementary and secondary endorsements. Coursework covers leadership, data-based decision-making, school improvement, equity, and community relations, culminating in a field-based internship. The program is offered in hybrid and (from Fall 2025) fully online, supporting in-service professionals. MSU's K-12 administration graduate program is ranked #1 in the U.S. for 2025.
