The Master of Music (Percussion) at Michigan State University College of Music offers advanced, comprehensive training in percussion performance. The program provides students with opportunities to study under renowned faculty, work closely with guest artists, and perform in high-level ensembles such as the MSU Percussion Ensemble and the African Diaspora Percussion Ensemble. Students benefit from active participation in concerts, festivals, and collaborations with leading musicians, developing professional musicianship, technical expertise, and global musical perspectives. The percussion studio is comprised of around 25 students, including both undergraduate and graduate levels.
