Michigan State University's RN-BSN program is a flexible, fully online bachelor’s completion program designed for registered nurses holding an associate degree or nursing diploma and a current, unencumbered RN license. The curriculum emphasizes professional development, leadership, evidence-based practice, and population health, and can be tailored to part- or full-time study. Students are awarded 30 credits for successful NCLEX-RN completion and complete a further 30 credits of RN-BSN courses, along with limited in-person clinical experiences tailored to the student’s location. The program leverages the Michigan Transfer Agreement to facilitate seamless credit transfer from Michigan community colleges. Graduates are prepared for expanded roles in clinical practice or for further graduate studies.
