NYU Law’s International Legal Studies LLM offers one of the broadest and most diverse curricula in international, comparative, and global law. Students must complete at least 14 credits from courses designated under the topics International Law, Comparative and Foreign Law, and/or International Litigation and Arbitration (or approved related courses), while meeting the overall LLM requirement of at least 24 credits. The program features flexible pathways, access to leading faculty and global practitioners, clinics and colloquia, research and writing opportunities (including a 4‑credit thesis option), and engagement with numerous centers and institutes focused on international and comparative law.
