The MS in Information Systems (MSIS) at NYU combines computer science courses at Courant (Graduate School of Arts & Science) with business courses at the Stern School of Business. It trains students in core computing and business concepts to prepare for management roles requiring deep technical skills. MSIS students take half of their courses in Computer Science and half in Business, drawing from the same courses as Courant GSAS CS graduate students and Stern MBA students. The program is positioned as the academic equivalent of an abbreviated combined Computer Science Master’s and MBA, and NYU does not provide financial aid to MSIS students.
