NYU Abu Dhabi’s BA in Legal Studies is a liberal-arts–rooted major that examines foundational questions of law and justice across philosophical, cultural, social, economic, political, religious, and ethical dimensions, with attention to both global and local legal systems (common law, civil law, and others). The program emphasizes globalization of law (environment, rule of law, international business, global governance, migration, media, human rights, technology and security, intellectual property) while building substantive skills in writing, research, analysis, and oral communication.
