NYU Tandon’s ABET-accredited Computer Engineering B.S. provides a comprehensive analysis and design curriculum that delivers an outstanding, cutting-edge education in computer systems with emphasis on both hardware and software. The program integrates traditional disciplines (electronics, communications, control, programming) with newer courses in areas such as cyber security, nanoscale circuit design, parallel computers, image processing, biomedical instrumentation, search engines, wireless and peer-to-peer networks, SoC, VLSI, and game development, and builds communication and teamwork skills through humanities/social science coursework and team design projects. Students benefit from sponsored research and affiliate programs (e.g., CATT and the Offensive Security, Incident Response, and Internet Security Lab) that connect them with industry-experienced faculty and alumni.
