The Master of Dietetics and Nutrition (MDN) at The Ohio State University is an innovative, accredited clinical program designed to prepare students for the role of entry-level registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN). The curriculum combines didactic (classroom) education with multiple supervised experiential learning opportunities in clinical, acute care, long-term care, outpatient, wellness, community, and industry settings. Coursework covers medical nutrition therapy, nutrition across the lifespan, leadership, management, and interprofessional teamwork. The program is full-time and completed in lock-step sequence, making students eligible for the RDN credentialing examination and state licensure upon graduation.
