The Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Ohio State University's College of Arts and Sciences is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program jointly offered by the Colleges of Arts and Sciences and Medicine. The curriculum draws from more than 150 neuroscientists university-wide and focuses on the core and advanced subfields of neuroscience. Students complete foundational courses followed by a specialization in one of three areas: Molecular/Cellular, Systems/Behavioral, or Cognitive/Computational Neuroscience. Coursework emphasizes both breadth and depth, requiring additional courses outside the student's chosen specialization. Experiential learning is encouraged, with opportunities for research, conference presentations, and professional skills development. The program prepares graduates for advanced study in neuroscience, medicine, or related disciplines, and for roles in research labs, health sciences, or the pharmaceutical industry.
