The Bachelor of Arts (International Honours) is a unique joint undergraduate program delivered by the University of St Andrews (including St Mary's College) in Scotland and the College of William & Mary in Virginia, USA. This degree combines the deep specialization of the Scottish system with the breadth of the American liberal arts tradition. Students spend two years at each university, with the order determined by their home institution. The program covers six disciplines—Classical Studies, Economics, English, Film Studies, History, and International Relations—and provides rich academic and cultural experiences from both contexts. Graduates receive a single degree accredited by both institutions, marked with the insignia of each school. The curriculum is rigorous, and students benefit from the academic strengths, resources, and networks of both universities, preparing them for global careers or further study in multiple fields.
