Students investigate North American politics, history, literature, popular culture, gender, class, nation, empire, and race, gaining critical and analytical skills across academic disciplines. The highlight is a study-abroad year at a partner institution in the US or Canada—partners include UC Berkeley, UCLA, Georgetown, and more—providing first-hand understanding and international perspective. The curriculum integrates elective options from other subjects, active participation in student-led events, and a strong research-led teaching team.
