This MSc programme focuses on training students in modern, data-driven approaches to understanding key issues in ecology, evolution, conservation, biodiversity, and epidemiology. The curriculum is structured to develop core skills in data science and ecological theory in Term 1, followed by advanced study of trends in artificial intelligence and sustainability challenges in Term 2, and a major data science dissertation project in Term 3. The course is based at the Penryn Campus in Cornwall and is run jointly by the University's Environment and Sustainability Institute and the Centre for Ecology and Conservation.
