This highly flexible degree allows you to study Latin alongside one of seven modern languages (Chinese, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, or Spanish), all of which may be taken from beginners level. The program equally divides your time between the two languages. The third year is spent abroad in a country relevant to your modern language choice, offering immersion and practical experience. The curriculum enhances understanding of language development, literature, and culture, and provides access to Exeter's Language Centre and extracurricular activities such as language societies and translation events.
