The University of Oxford does not offer a standalone BA in Sociology. Instead, sociology is studied as part of interdisciplinary undergraduate degrees such as Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE); Human Sciences; and History and Politics. In all these programs, students can pursue sociology-focused papers taught by the Department of Sociology, which currently does not run its own single-subject undergraduate degree. Oxford’s approach integrates core sociological theories, research methods, and major contemporary topics into broader social sciences curricula.
