The Bachelor of Media Studies (BMS) at UBC Vancouver is a cohort-based interdisciplinary undergraduate program delivered across multiple departments, including the School of Information. Students engage in theory, research, and practical coursework covering media creation, critical analysis, and digital innovation. The curriculum spans art history, creative writing, journalism, cinema and film production, computer science, and information studies. Students have opportunities for specialization, collaborative projects, and practical work experiences (including Co-op).
