Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Applied Sciences offers the MASc and MEng in Sustainable Energy Engineering (SEE). The MASc is a research-intensive, thesis-based degree focused on advanced study and research in sustainable energy technologies. Students receive formal coursework and in-depth research training to design and deploy clean energy innovations for contemporary and future needs. The MEng is a course-based (non-thesis), interdisciplinary degree geared toward technical, leadership, and communications skills with a strong emphasis on both engineering fundamentals and the policy/business/environmental aspects of sustainable energy.
