The Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronic Systems Engineering at Simon Fraser University, offered at the Surrey campus, integrates mechanical, electrical, and software engineering to address real-world engineering problems. Students benefit from small class sizes, mandatory co-operative education (co-op), and opportunities for industry engagement. The curriculum covers mechanical systems, electrical circuits, software programming, engineering graphics and design, differential equations, and technology’s role in society. Graduates pursue careers in robotics, automation, control systems, data science, software engineering, and related technology fields.
