The University of Alberta's Alberta School of Business, in collaboration with the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, offers a combined MBA / MSc in Urban and Regional Planning degree. This highly integrated three-year program is designed for students who seek expertise in both business management and urban/regional planning, particularly real estate, economics, and finance. Students complete the first year fully within one program (MBA or MSc URP), the second year in the other with some cross-disciplinary electives, and split the third year between both. A total of 87 units is required, including business and planning capstone projects.
