The Measurement, Evaluation, and Data Science (MEDS) program in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta is Canada's largest graduate program specializing in educational measurement, program evaluation, and educational data science. The program prepares students to work in psychometrics, research methodology, evaluation, and data science through a combination of theoretical studies and applied experiences, including research/teaching assistantships, internships, and statistical consulting. MEDS is affiliated with the largest measurement and evaluation research centre in Canada (CRAME) and offers interdisciplinary coursework with options from Computing Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Psychology, and Linguistics.
