This combined MScPT/MBA program at the University of Alberta is designed for current MSc in Physical Therapy students who wish to develop advanced clinical expertise alongside business leadership skills tailored for healthcare settings. Students complete both degrees in approximately 3.5 years, integrating physical therapy coursework and clinical placements with MBA core business courses and electives. The program prepares graduates to operate private clinics or take leadership roles within the public sector. Students start in the MScPT, apply to the combined program after 18 months, and complete a dedicated year in the MBA program before returning to finish Physical Therapy requirements.
