The Entrepreneurship & Innovation major at the Alberta School of Business is designed to help students cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, equipping them to identify business opportunities, mobilize resources, and create or manage business ventures or social enterprises. The curriculum covers the transition from startup to complex business, explores the role of entrepreneurship in economic and social development, and is enriched through co-curricular activities like those provided by the entrepreneurship HUB (eHUB). Students engage with global best practices and benefit from the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise. Graduates may launch new ventures, drive innovation in existing firms, or operate as consultants in entrepreneurial environments.
