The European Business Studies major in the Bachelor of Commerce at the Alberta School of Business (University of Alberta) offers an interdisciplinary approach focusing on the economics, languages, cultures, politics, and histories of both Western and Eastern Europe. Students combine a core business education with courses on European affairs and can specialize in a European language. The program aims to prepare graduates for international careers requiring knowledge of European business practices, socio-political structures, and functional fluency in a European language.
