The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Bilingual) program at the University of Alberta is a collaborative offering between the Faculty of Nursing and Campus Saint-Jean. It is structured to allow students to study and train in both of Canada's official languages, English and French, thereby preparing graduates to serve diverse linguistic communities, especially French-speaking populations in Western and Northern Canada. Students complete a blend of courses in both faculties, including 27–47 credits delivered in French, and participate in clinical placements that may be offered in bilingual or francophone settings. The curriculum covers foundational sciences, clinical practice, communication, and social sciences, fostering cultural competency and linguistic proficiency in healthcare delivery. The program admits one cohort per year, starting in September.
