International Agriculture (B.Sc.(Ag.Env.Sc.)) is an undergraduate specialization within the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at McGill University’s Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. This program equips students with a global and applied perspective on agriculture as a tool for rural development, poverty alleviation, and food security, especially in developing countries. The curriculum includes coursework at McGill and substantial field experience abroad, engaging students in community projects and field visits. The International Agriculture specialization must be combined with a major in B.Sc.(Ag.Env.Sc.), with Global Food Security being the recommended major. Graduates pursue a range of careers such as researcher, policy analyst, non-profit manager, or farm manager.
