The Bachelor of Science, Major in Environment at McGill University’s Bieler School of Environment is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program that equips students with broad perspectives to address pressing environmental challenges. Through coursework and hands-on experiences, students work across fields to examine how human, biological, and physical systems interact. The curriculum requires core courses plus a 'Domain' specialization (e.g., Atmospheric Environment, Biodiversity and Conservation, Water Environments). Students benefit from team-taught courses, research opportunities, field classes, and engagement with real-world environmental issues. Graduates are prepared for careers in consultancy, policy, assessment, science communication, planning, and more.
