The Accelerated Bachelor's to Master's Degree Program at Penn GSE allows high-performing undergraduates from the University of Pennsylvania and select partner colleges (Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Swarthmore) to begin master’s-level coursework during their undergraduate studies. Eligible students may take up to four graduate courses (three for Bryn Mawr and Haverford, two for Swarthmore), counting toward both the bachelor's and master’s degrees at no additional cost. After receiving the bachelor’s degree, students enter the GSE master’s program to finish their studies, accelerating completion time and reducing overall tuition. The program is designed for students interested in advanced careers in education-related fields, offering multiple tracks to match diverse professional goals. Students remain officially undergraduates until their BA/BS is conferred, at which point they transition to graduate status at Penn GSE.
