The Penn Carey Law LLM is a rigorous, full-time program designed for internationally trained lawyers. The curriculum is highly customizable, allowing students to focus on specific legal interests or explore broader areas, with options for two concentrations (Intellectual Property and Technology Law, and Global Security, Sustainability, and Human Rights). Students begin with a five-week pre-term program introducing U.S. legal concepts and participate in classes alongside JDs. The program features access to Wharton Business and Law Certificate, opportunities for public service, clinical work, and participation in student-run journals.
