The Master of Education (MEd) Interdisciplinary (Course-based) at the University of Calgary is a flexible, three-year, laddered pathway tailored to working professionals. Students first complete a Graduate Certificate (Year 1), then a Graduate Diploma (Year 2), each via a cohort-based, 4-course (12-unit) sequence. The final year (Year 3) requires four research-focused courses, culminating in the MEd Interdisciplinary degree. Students choose from a variety of current education topics each year and may pursue either an Educational Research or School Counselling specialization in their final stage.
