The Master of Nursing Thesis-based program at the University of Calgary provides a focused, supervised research experience for registered nurses. The curriculum, updated in Fall 2021, offers flexible online delivery with both synchronous and asynchronous courses. Students complete five core courses plus electives, and are required to prepare and defend an original thesis. The program develops research skills, leadership, and contributes to the advancement of nursing knowledge. Graduates are prepared for advanced clinical roles, education, policy leadership, or further doctoral studies.
