The Master of Engineering (MEng) in Biomedical Engineering at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, is a course-based professional program designed to provide advanced, specialized, and industry-relevant knowledge for engineers and other technical degree holders. It aims to develop expertise in medtech and healthtech, integrating knowledge areas such as medical imaging, biomechanics, bioinstrumentation, digital engineering, and device innovation. The program prepares students for diverse careers in biomedical industries and includes an option for an 8-16 month paid internship. Two study pathways are offered for completion in one or two years, both requiring 10 courses (30 units).
