The Bachelor of Education (Secondary Route) at the University of Calgary's Werklund School of Education prepares students to become certified secondary school teachers (Grades 7–12) in Alberta. Students select a teachable subject area and gain theoretical and practical experience through coursework and several practicum placements in school settings.
