The Bachelor's in Industrial Design program at the Faculty of Environmental Design, Université de Montréal (UdeM) combines theoretical and practical aspects through a comprehensive curriculum of courses and workshops. Students learn the technical aspects of materials and their transformation in line with sustainable development principles, while also addressing human factors such as ergonomics, psychometrics, and semiotics. Projects are often in partnership with industry or public/private organizations, fostering a strong culture of design thinking and preparing graduates to create, research, and develop technical objects and complex systems. All courses are delivered in French.
