The Bachelor of Biopharmaceutical Sciences (BSBP) at the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Pharmacy is an undergraduate program designed for students interested in drug development. The curriculum provides scientific training and in-depth knowledge of the drug development process from discovery to post-marketing monitoring. It integrates theoretical and practical instruction in biopharmaceutical sciences, foundational sciences, and covers pre-clinical and clinical drug development stages. While offering a fundamental education in medical sciences, this program does not permit graduates to practice as pharmacists but prepares them for roles in the pharmaceutical or biotechnological industry and for further graduate study.
