The Schulich Master of Accounting (MAcc) at York University is an academically rigorous and CPA Ontario-accredited, full-time graduate program designed to prepare students for careers in professional accounting. The program adopts the Schulich Accounting Case Method to equip graduates with critical thinking, technical accounting, and decision-making skills across legal, financial, regulatory, and ethical frameworks. Students gain comprehensive expertise in core accounting sub-disciplines and have the opportunity to specialize further in tax, assurance, or performance management through elective courses. Completion of the MAcc fast-tracks graduates through CPA Ontario’s Professional Education Program, preparing them to write the CPA Common Final Examination (CFE) and pursue the Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
