The Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Earth and Space Science at York University, offered through the Faculty of Science and the Department of Earth and Space Science and Engineering, allows students to specialize in Earth (Geomatics), Atmospheric, or Space Science. The first two years provide multidisciplinary foundational study in mathematics, computer science, and basic natural sciences. Upper-year students customize their pathway with advanced courses in Earth observation, planetary science, remote sensing, climate modeling, meteorology, and space exploration technology. Experiential learning such as co-op placements is available after the second year. The program prepares graduates for careers in government, industry, space and environmental sectors, or graduate study.
