The BEng in Computer Engineering at Lassonde School of Engineering, York University prepares students with a deep knowledge of both hardware and software design. The curriculum covers core concepts in computer systems, programming (including C, Java, Verilog), advanced system design, digital logic, robotics, digital communications, embedded systems, and virtual reality. Students gain extensive hands-on experience in labs such as the Digital Systems Lab and Robotics Lab, and develop advanced skills in object-oriented programming, FPGA hardware, MATLAB, Unix system programming, and prototyping of mechatronic systems.
