The Space Engineering BEng at Lassonde School of Engineering, York University is Canada's first program of its kind, providing multidisciplinary training for a career in space technology and its applications. Students gain practical experience from real space missions, participating in the entire engineering cycle from concept and design to manufacturing, testing, and operations. The program is accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB). Areas of study include orbit control, space-based optics, ground station communications, robotics, space mission design, satellite systems, guidance and navigation, and spacecraft structures.
