The Cinema & Media Arts Bachelor of Arts program at York University's School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design offers an immersive exploration of cinema and media through history, theory, criticism, and practical experience. Curriculum covers film, television, gaming, and social media, with emphasis on both analytical approaches and hands-on industry placements. Students engage with global cinematic cultures and moving image technologies, benefitting from access to advanced facilities, film archives, and renowned industry partnerships such as the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and the National Film Board of Canada.
