The Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) programme at King’s College London is a four-year fast-track medical degree designed for biomedical or life science graduates, as well as health professionals with equivalent academic backgrounds. Accredited by the General Medical Council, this course enables students to bypass one stage of the standard medical degree and focus on advanced clinical and biomedical training. Students receive hands-on experience at major London teaching hospitals, including Guy’s, King’s College, and St Thomas’, as well as placements at over 350 general practices and district hospitals across the South of England. Graduates are entitled to apply for registration to practise medicine in the UK.
