The Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering program at McMaster University's Faculty of Engineering combines the core chemical engineering undergraduate curriculum with specialized courses in biological sciences and bioengineering. This interdisciplinary program equips students with the skills to contribute to biotechnology, bioengineering, and traditional chemical engineering sectors. Graduates are prepared for careers in biopharmaceutical production, biomaterials development, tissue engineering, biomedical devices, food and beverage innovation, environmental biotechnology, regenerative medicine, and biological wastewater treatment.
