The MA Social and Cultural History at the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures, University of Leeds is a specialist program focusing on conceptual and empirical approaches to social and cultural history. The curriculum includes two core modules: 'Concepts and Debates in Social and Cultural History' and 'Communicating History', equipping students with theoretical knowledge and skills relevant to the discipline. Students will also choose from a wide array of optional modules, enabling tailored study tracks, such as health histories or histories of identity. The course culminates in a 15,000-word research dissertation, supervised by expert historians. The program is taught on-campus, beginning September 2025, and leverages the latest research by the School of History and wider Faculty.
