This MA offers a critical and analytical understanding of how scientific knowledge and its medical and technological applications have developed historically and shaped world society. The curriculum includes research methods specific to history and the humanities, narrative communication skills, and critical analysis of scientific knowledge production. Students will cover major debates and historical developments, curating and communicating the history of science, as well as have opportunities to participate in research seminars, conferences, and public engagement projects. The program is ideal for those interested in the post-17th century history of science, medicine, technology, and their interactions with broader society and culture.
