The MA Gender Studies at the University of Leeds (Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures) is an interdisciplinary program exploring gender relations past, present, and future, with a focus on marginalized perspectives and transnational feminist thought. The course provides grounding in feminist debates and research methods, with core modules in gender theory and research, and optional modules covering topics such as gender embodiment, gender and media, racism, decoloniality, migration, and religion and sexuality. The program leverages the research strength of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies, preparing graduates for careers in research, public and third sectors, NGOs, and international or private organizations.
