The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria’s Faculty of Health is a comprehensive program that explores physical activity and human movement from a scientific perspective. Students will develop knowledge in anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and neuroscience, and will gain practical skills in exercise prescription, analysis of movement, and rehabilitation. The program prepares graduates for careers in sport, recreation, rehabilitation, health promotion, as well as for further study in professional health fields such as medicine, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. The curriculum offers hands-on learning, professional skill development, and co-op or practicum opportunities.
