The Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Health Sciences integrates foundational biosciences, research analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative), and a broad interdisciplinary context covering social and environmental determinants of health. Students can focus on Integrative Health Biosciences, Technologies and Innovation in Healthcare, or Population and Public Health. The curriculum emphasizes research methodology and applied health skills, with opportunities for a research thesis and interdisciplinary health sciences fieldwork. Graduates are prepared for MSc programs or careers in public/private health agencies, NGOs, and as a foundation for medical, pharmacy, and rehabilitation programs. The program is offered in both English and French.
