The Environmental Geoscience Honours BSc program at the Faculty of Science, University of Ottawa, combines Environmental Science and Geology in a balanced, multidisciplinary curriculum. Students gain foundational knowledge in geology, biology, hydrology, and chemistry, and develop expertise in environmental interactions among Earth's solid earth, biosphere, atmosphere, and oceans. The program emphasizes analytical skills, frequent field trips, and hands-on learning. In the final year, students complete a research project or advanced coursework in environmental geoscience. The curriculum can satisfy the academic requirements for professional geoscientist accreditation in Ontario and Quebec, and is available in both English and French.
