The Master of Computer Science (Visualization & Graphics) program at Dalhousie University, offered by the Faculty of Computer Science, is designed for students interested in advanced research and development of interactive technologies that focus on human-computer interaction, visualization, graphics, and related areas. Research in this program bridges computer science with human-centered fields like psychology, health, art, and design. Students have the opportunity to participate in both fundamental and applied research projects spanning persuasive computing, VR/AR, visual analytics, 3D scene modeling, and more. Graduates are prepared for leadership roles in industry, founding start-ups, government positions, or further studies such as a PhD. Program requirements include at least four graduate-level computer science courses in the field and a successfully defended research thesis, as well as seminar participation.
